Transition Experiments in a Box - Separation Techniques
These boxes introduce topics and equipment that children may not have used in KS2. The aim of our Year 7 preparation boxes are to familiarise your child with the type of experiments and science kit they will come across in KS3.
Separation techniques are covered in Year 7 Science, these techniques include filtration, crystallisation, and chromatography. The Big Science Experiments in a Box introduces these concepts by helping and equipping your child to complete the three experiments.
Big Science Box
The Big Science Box aims to bring you some of our Big Science experiments that we include in our party packages and Big Science Club. This box includes 3 experiments, Making Slime, Mini Air Cannon and Water Fireworks.
We hope this box gives your child a simple introduction into fun science and ignites their spark creating curiosity for them to further explore science.
Mini Science Club Box
The box aims to introduce simple Science experiments to your preschool child.
Each experiment comes with an explanation to guide you every step of the way and gives you the scientific language and concepts to introduce to your child.
All five experiments are designed to ignite your child’s natural curiosity for science. They have been developed with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) in mind, paying particular attention to the Characteristics of Effective Learning.
